pricing + insurance

  • Individual Session Pricing

Rate change starting 6/10/2024. Due to the rising cost of living and inflation, I have had to raise my rates. This does not impact current clients and will only be applied to new clients starting after June 10, 2024. This rate change does not effect current client’s late fee rate either. Thank you for understanding.

50 minute individual sessions are $160

  • Sliding Scale Pricing

I do offer a limited amount of sliding scale spots. As of 9/16/2024 my sliding scale spots are full. If cost is an issue, I recommend utilizing OpenPath to find a sliding scale therapist.

  • Insurance

I accept most Aetna, Premera, Regence Oscar Health, Oxford, Quest Behavioral Health and United plans.

It is your responsibility to check with your insurance to ensure services are covered for your specific plan. You can check if I take your insurance and how much you’d owe each session here

PLEASE NOTE: Your insurance provider can, at any time, decide that they are not going to continue paying out for services or reduce the rate at which they pay out for billed services. The financial responsibility then for any service that is not fully covered by insurance will fall to you.

If you choose to utilize insurance and you do not meet criteria for a mental health diagnosis, I am unable to see you via insurance. It is insurance fraud to diagnose someone just for them to use their insurance. If you do not meet criteria, I can offer you my private pay rate or sliding scale rate.

Additionally, if you choose to use insurance you must carry a diagnosis. Please keep this in mind if you work in areas where mental health is still highly stigmatized.

It is my plan to be off insurance panels by 2028. Please keep this in mind if you are seeking services while I am still accepting insurance.

  • Late Cancellation / No Show fee

If you cancel within my 24 hrs policy or you no call/no show to your appointment this may result in a $160 late cancellation fee. Your insurance does not pay for any late cancellation or no show fees. It will come out of your pocket.

Please note that clients who have been established in my practice beofre 6/10/2024 will continue to be billed the old rate of $140 for late cancellations.
