Who i work with

The people I work with are open to change, sick and tired of behaviors that don’t serve them and willing to enter into hard conversations about the narratives and stories that influence their thoughts and feelings.

I work with people who show up to session excited to engage, they show up ready to explore, ready to share, ready to be challenges and ready to dive in.

Therapy works to heal the present by looking to the past. The clients I work with are willing to dig into what has happened to them to understand their present moment. They don’t come to me for quick fixes, they come to truly understand and know themselves.

I work with people experiencing a variety of issues, which include:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Trauma

  • Life transitions

  • Grief and loss

  • Relationship stress

  • Religious trauma + deconstruction

Therapy is both a financial commitment as well as a time commitment. Therapy takes time, and often it can feel like it’s getting worse before it gets better. In this world of 15 second videos and deliverable groceries we tend to think of therapy as the same quick service.

However, the progress in therapy is not always easily measurable. We are building a relationship, and relationships should always take some time to build. I like to think of therapy as one part my knowledge and expertise and two parts safety and trust between you and I.

I can never tell you how long I think you will need in therapy, but I can tell you that I will be here in this journey with you for as long as you need.
